Dunedin is located on Florida’s Gulf Coast in Pinellas County. It is south of Palm Harbor, west of Oldsmar, and north of Clearwater. It is home to Honeymoon Island State Park and Caladesi Island State Park. The city is also home to the Toronto Blue Jays spring training and Dunedin Blue Jays year round.
Honeymoon Island State Park is the #1 State Park in Florida with more than four miles of beach to enjoy. It has a three mile trail though one of the last remaining virgin slash pine forests. The island is home to many nesting birds such as osprey, oyster catchers, snowy plovers, and terns. You can also observe roseate spoonbills, snowy egrets, great blue herons and other species feeding in the water.
