Lakewood Ranch (LWR) is a 50 square mile community that has all the amenities of a town. It is located just off interstate I-75 south of Tampa, north of Sarasota and east of downtown Bradenton in Manatee County.
LWR is the best-selling community in the U.S. for all ages. They have communities that appear to the younger generation as well as seniors. No matter what your age, you will find activities, shops, restaurants, and events that will appeal to you and your family.
Parents have many preschool choices. LWR has A-rated primary and secondary schools and is home to nine higher education campuses included business, culinary, vocational and medical. In addition The Ranch is home to the Premier Sports Campus.
The community has many parks and recreation areas. It has paths and boardwalks through wildlife habitats and lakes. It has 150 miles of trails to explore making this a great place for families and outdoor enthusiasts.
