Siesta Key is a barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico located off the coast of Sarasota, Florida. This island is famous for it’s powder sugar white sand beach. This beach was named the best beach in the United States by Trip Advisor in 2020. It has also been named best U.S. and in the world by other identities including Dr. Beach.
The beach is open 6 am to 10 pm. In addition to the beach access the park has concessions, restrooms, pavilion, picnicking, grills, playground, tennis, pickleball, volleyball and much more. Lifeguards are on duty for your safety.
In addition to the beach, you don’t want to miss Siesta Village. This quaint village has plenty of shops, restaurants, bars, and entertainment. It is located not far from the beach.
Also check out the other beaches on the island. You have Sarasota Beach located north of Siesta Beach and Crescent Beach, along with Turtle Beach to the south.
